Pedal Assembly Questions

Ok I just got my swap done, and it included an auto to manual tranny conversion. But instead of putting a new brake pedal on there, they just ghetto cut the stock one in half. What do I need to replace it with the real one? I'm assuming it's possible... Do I just need the pedal or the whole assembly?
