Yes, I searched! Here, other forums, and yahoo...

Anyways, I'm thinking about getting these wheels for my car (1997). I have Tein HE and 300ZX brakes...

I just want to confirm:

1) What is the offset?
2) Will these work with my setup?
3) Should I use a spacer(s)?
4) How much do they weigh?
5) Forged?
6) Know of any good places to get them?

Thanks!
-John

+30, pretty sure HEs stick out enough you dont need spacer, ~22lb, forged, look around a lot.

BTW all these questions have been answered before numerous times.

Yes I know, and I ask because you say ~22 lb... and I just saw ~20 lb... and both of those are only approx... and 2 lbs makes a big difference.

...things like that. BTW, if your car is white, I love it.

If you're running any tires wider than 215, you will probably need a spacer, probably 3-5mm. If you don't get sticky weights (like doriftoslut), you may need a spacer too, even if you're running 215/45/17. Regardless, coilover spacing will be minimal; it would be prudent to run a 5mm even with 215s!

I'm thinking of running 235/45 tires... will a 5 mm spacer up front and no spacer in the rear cut it?

235/45 is very tall; consider running 235/40 or even 235/35 if it's available. I'm not sure how "easily" these will clear, even with a 5mm spacer, but with 235/45/17 I suspect you may very likely have to roll your front fenders as well, if you're not running any (or enough) negative camber.

2 pounds makes a big difference? Dont get these wheels if you want lightness. Get these wheels for daily driven/drift strength and size. they will withstand quite a bit more than MOST wheels of comparable size. They are meant for daily driven skyline. Lightweight 240sx is easy...

Like Adriel said, you would probably need a 5mm up front. And 235/40 is better imo. 235/45 is too tall of a sidewall. What kind of ride height are you looking at also? cause if you want your car slammed you will not be running those 235s I'll tell you what.

I have R33 GTR wheels on my '98 S14. I have Tein Flex Coilovers and 300ZX Brakes. running 215/45/17 front and 235/40/17 rear. They clear just fine and don't rub at all. I'm not using any spacers. The front wheel has like 2mm clearance to the coilovers but they work no problem.

They are 17x9 +30 Forged.
If you want to buy a set email me. [email protected]

Let me just clear up that in the rear you will be fine with 235s, but up front I imagine you will more likely than not need more than a 5mm spacer to clear the coilovers.

If it helps at all, my 16*8+36 do NOT clear coilovers without a 3mm spacer -- the tire would rub/shred against the lower collar. In fact, to be safe, I'd have to run either 5mm or 6mm (stack two 3mm spacers).

my 9" +15 dont clear my coilvers. depends on car setup

but you probably need a 5 for sure, unless you own APEX coilovers. zeal coilovers probably a 10mm or more hahahaha..damn zeal.

and -3 camber
i have +15 offset
wait..let me check my car..i might be hitting SPRING (like middle of it) since my car cap and rotor took a shit on me (off for the day) ill find out..maybe get some pics. either way, with the 5mm it BARELY clears still hahahaha

im running -3.15 camber up front.....you cant beat me....lol

camber will not alter the clearance between wheels and coilovers up front due to the suspension geometery/design.

it will with tein
the camber plates on top wont
but the bottom has eccentric bolt, so the hub angle can change. i think that's why. maxed out lower part and the camber plate still has quite a bit of adjustment left on it.

i beat you because my wheels HIT THE FUCKING COILOVERS
hahahaha
5mm spacer is NEEDED unless i like rubbing. i even have a 215/45/17 on the wheels

hahaha

i track the car a lot, rubbing is not good to have.

-3.15
i used to have -3.5 but that's too much
-3 is pretty good imho

and dood
+30 on 9j with -3 camber and no spacer? you got some madd sunk wheel stylee!! haha and its on s14
get some spacers!

dorifto slut has the r33s with a 20 mm bolt on 215/40/17 on stock s13 fenders with about -3 camber..its PERFECT. lip is totally flush (because lip is super exposed due to tire size) with the fender! HOT NESS

i put a 3mm on the rear w/ my 17x9 +15 and -3 with slight pull fender...its almost flush w/ fender, could use another 3mm spacer though for perfection

here's my car so you can try and figure which part of wheel rubs coilover

car still needs to go down a bit more haha
it has a full aero kit now so it looks even lower
bumper was cracked after 1 day hahaha HOT

the rear needs to be lower front could go bit lower if i do some slight body modifciation but im pretty happy with it right now.
for the people who say 'your car is too low you suspension will suck"
all arms are adjustable. FLCA coming shortly :)

Yo +30 on an s14 is weaksauce. 17x9 +10 on stock S13 (rolled and slightly pulled). Poosays. M car has JIC FLT A2. And its like 2.5 inches of cround clearance. hahha. Oh and front camber is -2.75 btw. Rear -2.5
