View Full Version : Silvia s15 varietta help required please!

Have had my Autech Varietta S15 for just over a year now and it has developed a nasty rattle. Has anyone experienced this problem? and found a solution. I have no idea what part is making the noise but the noise seems to stop every time i put pressure on the roof while driving. Could it be the thin sheet metal hooks? any help would greatly be appreciated.

Why not ask in the Australian forums? Not a whole lot of Variettas here since most of us are in NA.

I have and yet still nothing, so I thought I'd try here got nothing to lose. But guess that's what happens when you buy a rare car... Rare information on help. Fml

Take to a local body shop. They will probably diagnose it for free

Tried that, they don't want to touch it! Said they don't want to deal with future problems or be liable and the fact that it's a jap car.

when does the rattle happen? does it vary in frequency or intensity at any time either RPM or speed? what location of the car is it in. under carriage, engine bay, rear?

just because hardly anyone here has your car doesnt mean you cant look at the situation objectively to help you with you problem. you just need to give us SOME kind of info.
