I have for sale a 1996 Honda Civic LX Automatic with black exterior and gray interior. The car comes with power windows, locks, cold AC, Dual deck with aux connection, good tires, and excellent mpg! Previous owner had a custom sunroof installed but it does not open. Not sure what is wrong with it but you can hear the sunroof motor working if you press the button probably an easy fix. The car had the timing belt replaced at 120k miles and I have always kept up on maintenance. The car is from Minnesota so there is very little paint fade and after a car wash it shines more than my Lexus! The only downfall in paint is that it has a small rust spot on one of the rear 1/4 panels but nothing too big. The car has 221k miles and climbing since it is my daily driver and due to mileage you do have to top off oil and coolant every once in a while. Don't let this scare you as this is the best running Civic I've ever had and I drove it from MN all the way here (2000 mile trip) and I drive it from LA to Fresno all the time with no issues. Car is completely stock except for when I replaced the air filter I put in a better K&N filter and when I replaced the brakes I put in PowerStop cross drilled rotors. No check engine light and motor is completely stock so it should pass smog with flying colors. The car is still registered in MN as I have a house there also so buyer will be responsible for smog or whatever else is required to get it Cali street legal. Clean title in hand with no lean email me if you have any questions I tried to be up front with everything. Asking $1800. Thanks.

Yes it's weak because it was meant to be fuel efficient and problem free. Sometimes it does seem about as fast my Lexus though. LOL!

Bump new price and move out date is getting closer. Lowest I'll go is $1800 that should cover worst case scenario if headgasket needs to be replaced.

i thought it was the sellers responsibility to do the smog, am i wrong?

That might be only for CA registered vehicles. If someone flies from CA to MN to buy a car the buyer has to smog it not the seller. Also for this price there should be no issues paying extra for smog as I've seen jenky civics go for twice or triple the price. Don't let the price make you think this car is a pile it is a very solid and clean car I'm just moving and I don't want to drive this car back with me.
