Diff confusion

can anybody tell me if there is a 6 bolt half shaft that will work with my s14 hubs i have a q45 diff and the 300zx shafts dont work with s14 hubs im sick of reading threw pages and pages of forum mumbo jumbo!!!

if you find out j30 6 bolt axles will work, i have a set laying around

If you are trying to use the q45 diff you will most likey have to use the q45 rear hubs instead of searching for a six bolt axle to fit the 29 spline on the s14 hubs. There is a write up on the whole swap. It requires q45 diff, hubs, and driver's side axle along with the z32 tt driver's side axle. If you need any of those parts i may be able to get my hands on them for you. Lmk

^what he said. Z32 TT axles are hard to come by and expensive though.

From what i read and saw on his other post it looked like he has everything he needs except for the z32 tt or q45 hubs, the q45 ones are easier to come by than the other but shouldnt be expensive, prolly could pick up a pair for 80 plus shipping used. Atleast thats what i would charge for the z32 tt ones that i have.

thanks for all the help guys the reason for all the problems is im running dw rear geomasters and the z32 hubs dont fit them that is why i bought s14 hubs. later i apoun reinstallation i found out that the axles were 300zxtt since the splines didnt match up!!! hope everybody is on the same page now lol!! so i just need to know if i can run q45 diff with j30 6 bolt axles and are the splines gonna work with my s14 hubs!!

j30 6 bolt axles are going to have the 32 spline as well. The s13 and s14 hubs accept 29 spline. the z32 n/a hubs are 29 spline and the z32 tt hubs are 32 spline. there are numerous combinations you could try to get your set up to work. you said your z32 hubs did not work with your current set up using the z32 tt axles? are you positive that they are tt hubs and not n/s hubs? you honestly cannot tell the difference between the two unless they are side by side or you actually count the splines. I am not trying to tell you what to do but the easiest way i could think of getting you back on the road again is to get the right hubs instead of seraching for a 6 bolt 29 spline axle which would probably have to be a custom job and would be much more expensive than picking up some used hubs. If you do decided to go the hub route I have what you need and if you do happen to find those axles let us know which ones you use cuz I am sure many of us would rather use them instead of searching for the near impossible to find z32 tt driver's side axle lol.

Why cant the z32/ q45 hubs work ? is it because of the anchor bolt hole i assume. You can just cut that shit off.

All you need is q45 or 300zx TT hubs..the only axles you can use are the ones you have not J30 axles or any of that BS will work. You have the 'star' 6 bolt diff n axles

does anybody know if it will work if i seperate the bearing, and use the splined part(the part with the studs on it) from the z32 hubs with my good bearings if that makes sense lol.

hmmm well its a good thing i got one lol..... thanks for all the help im just trying to get everything to work with these geomasters and i already bought new hubs befor i new these ones were z32's and thery are shot anyways so just cant re use them lol
