I lol'd... Seriously OP? :picardfp: Do some research there guy this has been covered in the SR FAQ. Also if you want us to give you actual numbers you may wanna add in stuff like "with stock internals" or "with specific cams" because all of this matters. I have heard of 1000hp set ups and I have seen many 400 hp set ups including mine, it's all dependent on how you build it... Do some research start there and then if you have clear questions then start a thread

Thats the wrong question to ask. The real questions are.: Do you have the money to do so? and Do you have the patience and experience to handle that much power?

It really depends on what ems you plan to use, do you have adequate injectors, what fuel you plan to use, etc. Without proper tuning even 300 whp will not last.

400hp is what I have heard for years... If you build it and go all out 1000hp... Truth is this info is pretty easy to find using google. Just to recap, anything over 400hp and you need to build the block.

Did you actually report it?

But just cuz I'm drunk and I'm feeling nice...all depends on how good the tune is. The kicker is, we talking about fresh STOCK bottom ends or fresh off the container swap engine that only God fucking knows how beat it really is? I've personally seen folks run fresh stock bottom end w/ built head and TD06-25Gs hit almost 500whp with no issues.

It's all in the tune, but ^ this guy is right. These used motors have unknown history, and even though they are advertised as under 50k miles, they're 15+ years old. Many have had 400whp, and some even go up to 500hp, but not much further on stock internals.

I have never seen a car in a junkyard that had less than 100k kms...so all the bullshit about how engines from Japan has less than 50k miles is BULLLLLSHIT!!! Whats true is that due to JCI, it can be harder to pass older cars so people just junk their cars rather fix their hoopty.
