Ok, I just received my engine back from the machine shop which was westchester crankshaft in ny and I have a question before assembling it. I had my block sleeved but I am looking at which looks like to be the coolant passage between the walls. Will this be a problem? :rl:

I can't comment on how well this will work being I've never worked with a sleeved block. That said, coolant travels up from the block through the head, so it shouldn't be a problem if it travels upwards and exits through the ports in the head properly.

Someone who machines sleeves should comment in here; or OP, send an email to a couple performance companies and ask them. AMS, Enjuku, RaceLab, ...dudes that see this more often.

Thank you, I'm going to send out a email to import intelligence and hopefully they can tell me since I'm going there for a tune.

They told me it should be ok.

The head gasket should seal it without issues. But im not sure what they were trying to do

In the last set of pics, the 2nd from bottom ,that one is a lil sketch, cause water is going to try run across that chanle/slit. It doesnt look like it goes all the way across,i hope. H ow deep is it? Was that parting line in the liners befor it got put in?

no its all new sleeves. I don't know what they did but they said it should be fine and it used to have a slit straight across.
