Gauge problems

Hey guys i just recently tried to swap in a hud cluster and it didnt work so i put back in my old cluster and the lights for the speedometer and rpm and clock dont light up when i turn on my headlights. does anyone have any idea what i could/should do to try to solve my problem? thanks alot guys

Check your tailight fuse. My cluster lights went out after swapping clusters in my S13 and I found that the tail lights and clusters lights work off the same fuse.

Haha, yeah that works too. Keep in mind that your brake lights work off a different fuse so you want to check just your "running lights" or tail lights.

lemme buy that cluster :) is the digital one w/hud?

BTW... keep in mind that when you swap the digi cluster/HUD you have to swap to a digi sub-harness as well. I have a dohc cluster/hud/harness. Swapped it all out and it worked fine. I only had the problems with blown fuses when I tried to use the JDM sub-harness, but it is pinned out slightly different.

I am willing to sell my setup if the other guy dosen't want to sell his. $100+sh for all.
