Sigh, #62 ECU will work if you switch out the oxygen sensor to a skinny one. Blacktop uses a fat type oxygen sensor. Look up Zirconia vs Titania differences.

You can order the adapter piece from Nissan if you have to. I believe its around $11.

The E5's are a pain in the ass to find. I was looking for them a few months ago and actually was researching the same thing you are lol.

You dont really need to change the o2 sensor...shit will drive fine. I never noticed the difference on mine. I was running mixed matched redtop/black top setup ECU and never had an issue.

Makes 0 difference buddy. I have both ECU's and unplugging the 02 sensor puts the car in limp mode with either. :s101:

I hate to bring up a old thread, but I'll noob it here. I know this has been going on for years, I just need one question answered. I have a blacktop sr with a fat O2 sensor, and a 62 ECU. I'm waiting on finding an E5 ecu to buy, I have a couple drift events coming up and I wanted to know if its safe to run with my current set up. I haven't re pinned anything, and all I've read has confused me.
