I was wondering if you would be able to use a 300zx TT fuel pump for a 240sx with a ka24de engine. I heard that it had been done before and I was wondering if it was true or not. Can someone let me know. Thanks alot.

I'm using a 300zx TT w/ my SR20DET setup, so I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to use it on the KA motor.

Yes you can, I'm running 300zx fuel filter on my car right now. I've heard that it'll let your motor rev up faster. I say, that's just in people's head, I don't feel any difference. But it's surly a larger fuel filter :naughty:

Is that really a good swap? Really? I mean,...does it really give you more power...or just kill your gas mileage and give you bragging rights to the honda boys ?

TO TELL THE TRUTH IF THOUGH THE 240 IS A BEAST AND IS THE THE BEST TOP END CAR IN ITS CLASS AGAINST ECLIPSE PRELUDE CELICA MX-6 INTEGRA AND ALL OF THE OTHER BULL SHIT ASS FRONT WHEELS THE KA24DE MAKES PEAK TORQUE AT5500 SO THIS MEANS IF YOU DRIVE UNDER 5000 YOU WON'T BURN BEACUASE IT'S STILL A 4 CYL ANDTHE GAS MILEAGE THAT CAME WITH CAR WAS GOOD FOR A STREET CAR.

The reson I didn't go w/ the walbro fuel pump on my car is because a shop here bought two....the first one didn't work out of the box, and the second died a little after it was installed. The denso was the next reasonably priced fuel pump, but i don't want to have to wait for a month for a jdm fuel pump to come in if mine goes out. So, the only other option for me was to go w/ the 300zx TT fuel pump - a little pricey, but easy to replace if it goes out.

Is the 300zx TT fuel pump loud. I read it was loud in SCC and was wondering from first hand experience.

What is the difference between the 300zx tt fuel filter and the 240's fuel filter? Does the 300zx filter allow more flow of gas? Someone help me out w/ this because I don't understand the need to upgrade a gas filter.

More flow of gas is always better. Also it's not a necessity, just think about it, regular maintenace suggests that the fuel filter be replaced. So to be safe, people recommend you to replace with an "upgrade". This assumes that you are not going to be in the stock power levels.

Bingo! If you have to do it,and spend the time/money on replacing it....might as well put something better on with the potential to make more power
