Does your stock rubber intake tube have a spring in it? If not it can collapse under boost.

take your spark plug gap down to .028 and check your coil packs as well

what fuel pump are you running?

Possible weak fuel pump.

Has it always been like this? But I would definitely get a walbro in that tank. They're inexpensive.

Sounds like not enough spark is coming through, I had that happening to my SR and it was loose ground cable, check your power cables and change ur plugs hopefully that will take care of it, oh and check if any of the intercooler pipes came off that could be it too

If it accelerates if you gently give throttle, but not when you hit it hard, it usually is a weak fuel pump. If it does it all the time, usually a boost leak. And if it does not go above 2500 rpm, it is a MAF related problem (limp mode) => check your MAF wiring .

It's when you try to rev it's hesitate an it's a wire specialties harness too. Maf wiring what do I need to look for?

does it even pass certain rpms ? i had a bad 02 sensor then it started sputtering at 2000 to 2500 and wouldnt go forward , got stuck in traffic also....

switched to my power fc ecu , and turned off 02 control.... and it works good , exepct my fuel economy has gone reall bad :2c:

New plugs an checked grounds, It won't even go to 1500-2500 an wants to die after it tries to idle back down after a rev really frustrated with it first sr20 I've ever messed with need all the help I can get?

Also I have a skinny o2 sensor is there one I can interchange with. .? If this ones bad?

I would say right below 1k so 800-900 it idles an cranks fine jus not able to rev

still going for weak fuel pump and / or boost leak somewhere, and a big one. You sure of all your plumbings ?

try revving the car from engine bay, very gently on the throttle . if it revs, it surely is the fuel pump. If it does not, boost leak. And it could really be both. MAF systems cant work properly with a boost leak.

I have been revving from throttle in the bay it wil rev but very hesitate an sluggish t bolts on all piping but I'll double check the leaks an get a fuel pump

So your turbo setup is not stock, and you have a motor that needs a lot more fuel than your KA ever did, and you have a stock fuel pump? You need to either buy/borrow a walbro from a friend and see if it solves your problem.

Do you have a boost gauge? You can tell if you have a leak if you have a boost gauge..

Test for boost leaks by using smoke or a DIY tester with a pvc end cap and air compressor (you can find it on the forums)

Ok yes done a leak test an I think my bov is shot an stuck open . Fuel pump on order

Is it an ebay BOV?

Recirculate it

i am having hesitation problems as well. i will use all the answers here.

but to op. i dont know if you ever get to fix but can you rev the car pass 3k? if not could be a maf problem.

have you tried a 3rd MAF? the SR maf's seem to be junk, it might possible that you got 2 bad ones

if its only hesitating when u give it any throttle, id check your TPS voltage. and tps voltage at the ecu
