Looks like a pretty decent design. It would make me kind of nervous to suck up water though.

Anyone running it notice pretty good gains?

i have my filter in the same location
its not that low to the ground that u will suck up water
i would recommend keeping your plastic under car cover which wraps around the wheel arch if your going to mount your filter there other wise the tyre will flick dirt and all sorts of shit into your filter

this is mine

Dumb. Leave the filter in the engine bay.

Want more air to reach the filter? Put a duct to it.

That is wrong. Why would you want the blow by to go through your maf and dirty it up?
I made mine the most cheapest and simplest way. I think its like $10.?

Agreed would def ruin the MAFS..Personally I don't like the location of that CXRacing design. WOuld be inconveinent for me with being low and water and such, wouldnt want my filter to pick up ground particles and all that dust. Save the $111 and get a nice greddy/hks/apexi/blitz/k&n setup thats standard and sits in the bay and actually looks good and is designed by a reputable company.

Stock MAF blows, and blowing oil through the MAF will kill it in short order. That's also expensive for some Chinese crap as well...

Also, wouldn't all the "cold" air it pulls in get heated from the turbo anyway?

I have one... maybe it'll fit decent on an S13, but I had to hack and cut the shit out of it to work with my S14 as it rubs the hot pipe of my FMIC... looks neat after a lot of fitting and is loud as shit, but if I cold go back, I'd just get a normal hard pipe kit with an air box or something along those lines.

Wouldn't use it for a daily driver, but for a track car... I would be all for it.... But that is ridiculously expensive....

This.

Not to mention the air was already metered once. Then it goes on and meters it again...
