help my car won't start wtf

so i swapped in s14 ka24de into my 90 s13 it wont start i'm wondering what i did wrong there is a black wire off the positive lead for the battery does any one know also did i need the fuse box off 91-94 car. the motor has been converted to obd1 and i have a 93 harness please help

nice but not helpful so do you know what is wrong or are just in it for the lolz car cranks but no spark come on some one help

I don't think you need the fuse box of a dohc chassi cuz I just finished my 97 s14 ka on to my 89 and I really don't know what year my harness came out and aslo im using the sohc tranny harness but yea..... Anyways if your taking about the lowering harness black wire the looks like if it was a ground but in really it's a positive wire I hooked that
On up to my starter and it turned on first try but if I just leave it hanging it won't turn on but does crank(if were in the same page that should be your problem)
