im not going crazy on the build just a affordable street car to have some fun in. im sticking with the ka, plan on doing an oem rebuild, plan on going boost later down the road nothing crazy just want to put down some decent numbers.

so far this is want my list is looking like:
oem piston and rods (only thing i can find is npr)
timing chain kit
oil pump
bore the block, hot tanked blah blah
having the head rebuilt to oem spec
clevite rod and main bearings
magnecore wires
ngk plugs
arp studs
not sure if i should use a metel hg since im not running forged internals
new clutch im thinking spec ( still undecided)

thats what the parts list is looking like so far im sure itll grow as the build goes on lol :naughtyd:

alright now after doing a bit more research im thinking of getting some forged pistons and running them on stock rods along with a metal hg, just so she can handle a bit more booost and i dont really trust the npr pistons lol.. thoughts ?

I'm not really sure this qualifies as a build thread since it doesn't seem like you've made much process yet

a build has to start somewhere lol.. thank bro, i was thinking sr as well but ka just seem like the better way to go. got my income tax money coming with in the next week so part will be getting order soon. just doing alot of prep work. (cleaning engine bay, stripping everything down blah blah)

my local sr importer has them for $1950 with everything black top s14. I also found a complete KA engine, tranny and ecu on CL for $225. thing is this car is my DD and cant afford for it to be down too long..so whatever I do has to be done and ready to go in a few days tops..

good luck with your decisions..

look at all the sponsors on here. I always look out in the group buy and advertisers specials/announcements. enjuku, phase2, import image, heavy throttle ( HAHA) ravspec, jspec, 9k racing, frsport. etc and you'll be taken care of. peace
