@ Imola s4 I second that. on the price you say on civic. and what you say on some 240 people rock Reps. my daily is a civic & s13 and love both.every parts on both are real.from the rims,sterrring wheels,seats,tires,cf hood,harness,etc...I keep sales slip and org box, on every thing I buy.so If I sell. they know they are getting name brand and not Reps...

Just because the manufacturer of the car is based from japan doesnt make it Jdm. So once A car is produced in america. Its Usdm, no matter if its a nissan, toyota, honda, etc. It seems to be hard to get that through...

2. J32 is a stupid swap. Granted I think trying to make any fwd fast is epitome of stupid.
3. With a single cam D series this car is not worth that much, especially with a "fresh" 100k miles.

Sure, you may ask. "Plus all the stuff" is a moot point. It's about marketing. If you know anything about car sales, you know upgrades do nill to a car's value to a point. This point is usually at motor swaps or extreme suspension upgrades. Even then, to expect what you paid is lunacy. Granted, his current price is MUCH better than the original. I can explain further if necessary.

I'm not sure as to why you're so amazed by my quote. Platform plays a huge roll in resale when selling outside of your niche market. He's trying to sell a weak fwd in a (decent) rwd market. This also effects the reasonable price range. Selling a 240 for more than it (on average) may be worth on this forum is completlely reasonable considering the enthusiast market. Whereas, asking for more than an inferior chassis is worth on a different chassis forum is not the most praised of ideas.
