Heater Core Temperature

Does anyone know the temperature the coolant should be at when it runs into the heater core? At the moment my car is running with the coolant at around 150 degrees at the top radiator hose, 130 degrees at the lower radiator hose and 130 degrees at the heater core. Is this too low of a temperature for me to get good heat?

it has a thermostat...should the upper rad hose be way hotter then that?

My upper hose reads about 180 warmed up.

thats weird...i bought a thermostat from nissan just waitin till tomorrow to get it. but the current one i have has a hole drilled in it, would that make it cool way faster and probably bring the temps down? Also the thermostat opens at 170 so i thought mine was norm with it being a little cooler then the thermostat temperature

1st take the temperature at the vents.
The way the coolant flows (assuming KA), You may need a coolant system flush, or have a blockage before the core. Something.

Unless you were guesstimating those temps. Then it's whatever.

no those temps were with a laser temp gauge on the hoses. Ill try the temp at vents tomorrow. I dont think i need a system flush cause ive flushed it about 5 times trying to figure out this heat problem. But im also thinking its a blockage before the core if it isnt the heater control valve.
