Walbro wiring connectors?

So I just received the Walbro 255 and about to install it however a bit confused with the wiring. The kit came with the harness and 2 "eye" connectors at the end as if I can bolt the wires to something. I was originally going to just splice the wires together, but these connectors threw me off. Any idea how this works? Thanks!

ok so they're called ring terminals, i don't get how they apply there.

cut the harness from your stock fuel pump, solder it onto the walbro wires. Be sure to use heat shrink tubing after you solder.

That's what I did. Mine came with butt connectors, but I tossed those and soldered instead.
