I think it is time for you to reconsider your dream and move forward.

We see people like him a lot here.. I mean for real, Everybody wants RB26 in their car right ?

I think $10k~15k will get you fresh RB26 swap.

I will say, stay with KA you have in your Kouki save your money and put it toward something very very positive in your life something like Education or down payment for house instead of spending $ on car.

I am sorry, it is hard to give you a suggestion without knowing your age.

Of course, if you have too much $ to spend, by all means.. go for it.
But I would set the goal first about what you will do with your car. (i.e. Hard parking at car show, Time attack, Drift, Daily, Drag etc...)

5 Grand means alotttttt of fabrication. But i Here Raw Brokerage is pretty official, they sell a full RB26 swap. But its kind of expensive

10k will get you a stock RB25 running realiably.
15-20k will get you a stock RB26 running reliably.

This mostly your labor by the way. I'm in about 12k into mine and it's not even done yet. You can just think engine only. You have to think about all the supporting mods and parts to make it run reliably. Tuning is also the key.

Cheaper to buy a car with one in it already.

Last winter , i took everything appart to check and do a single turbo set-up and found out my cylinder walls were all fucked !!!!

I sold everything and now LS1 / G-Force gsr tranny

If you have that much for a swap I would start looking into an ls1. It's an awesome motor and they are getting cheaper. If I was to do it all over again I would do that.

Yeah dude 5k is not enough...go KA-T is your best bet.....my s14 SR swap is 8k and some change without using bullshit parts....soo either save more or go KA-T imo...

Don't waste your money on rebuilding the engine. Fine a stock strong engine set from japan that hasn't been abused here. Put some r34 turbos on it, cams, supporting mods, and a good tune. It'll be faster and more reliable then anything you've ever had. The key is the install and good tuning with good software. I recommend a Vi-Pec. Nikolays drift car here from U.P. Garage made 394whp with r34 turbos on a stock rb25. Reliable driving in formula d. No matter what your looking to spend 12k-15k for this to happen. lol the amount i have into my sr i could have bought a stock rb26 and done some simple upgrades, i have close 2000 in just block machine work, plus parts 1200, plus head machine work 400, plus valve train parts 500ish, and thats before we get into fuel systems or intercoolers or manifolds or turbos or lines, just my turbo manifold and lines and actually turbo, over 3000. and i find deals and dont mind getting parts second hand.

you add two more cylinders into the equation and figur on adding i only spent 2/3 what it would cost to do a legit rb26
