how to tell the difference between stock and j30

what the title says , I want to make sure I have a j30 diff ... Well that's what I was told ' thanks in advance

Do a burnout is the fun way. Other then that jack the car up and put the car in neutral and trun the back wheel.

I not sure but id the turn the same way then it a j30 if the turn opposite ways it a open diff. Again i think but not sure

jack up the rear end. spin one wheel

if they both spin the same way = vlsd

if they spin opposite or other side doesn't spin = open or a vlsd with no life left in it

or if the snout is super long you def have a j30/ABS 240 with a vlsd

lifted the car up and turned the wheel ... They turned the same way , thank errrrrrbody
