So I searched and have failed. I'm trying to figure out exactly how to cut a spot for the extra sensor that is on a s14 transmission. Like is there an exact spot that its suppose to be cut? What do I use to cut it? How do I know its working correctly, etc. The fear of fucking up a tranmission by cutting it has lead me to only look for s14 trannys for my swap and by god they are quite a few in between... A pictorial would be awesome if anyone has one...

The flat spot at the top of the bell housing is where you drill the hole for the sensor. I did it a month ago on a friends car. If you search S14 Ka24de transmission on google it's pretty self explanatory once you see the picture.

I referenced the auto bellhouse bolts and measured with a ruler
to get the approximate location for the hole
then used a series of drills for the hole

in hindsight, I should have also measured the spacing/gap to the flywheel
since I ended up bending the sensor when I fired up the engine
I've since read that you need ~1/4" washer to space up the sensor to clear the flywheel

got another sensor but been too lazy to do it
and also I've already tracked down an s14 ka transmission
