Thinking about installing a RB25det into my unmodified S14, but I don't want to have to notch, hammer or cut anything on the chassis. Is this possible? Will the OEM piping on the RB25det clip be enough to do a side mount setup?

Reason being is I already have a hored out s13 track car, and I wont be seeing HP numbers anywhere near my s13 and I want to keep my s14 clean and streetable.

seriously man. do some research, I hate to be one of those guys but come on..

you are gonna have some issues with your down pipe clearance and the steering shaft or some bullshit like that.

Seriously man, I've read that before, and that's not what I consider the chassis/body of the car or what I asked, smartie. I asked a different question that no one has asked before and one that you obviously don't have an answer to.

NO. be realistic here... if you've ever built a car, you know everything has a margin of error... especially shoving an inline 6 into an S chassis... Firewall is gonna get bashed putting the motor in most likely, and/or core support. Plus IC piping is gonna take a hole saw at least.

RHD chassis...you can get away with running stock R33 crossmember and engine mounts to fit it in. You can get away with not banging in the transmission tunnel but you will fucking regret not doing it if you ever have to drop the transmission. Shit is fucking tight in there like a 14 yr old virgin...

You'd still have to make a transmission mount, but i got buddies in japan who swear they used auto RB25 transmission mount on an S14 and it bolted right up.
