okay, so i am in the process of swapping my ka-t out of my s13 into my 95' s14 chassis. before i was going to swap the motor in i was going to drain the gas tank by: having the ecu, relays, and all harnesses hooked up minus the engine being hooked up because its not in the car. so i got the battery hooked up, cut the ignition on and all of the dash lights and everything cut on properly except the fuel pump. so i go to check the fuse and its fine, so i started to think if it was the relay. i removed the relay and did this

as soon as i did this, my fuel pump cut on. does this mean my relay is bad, or im not getting signal from the computer or what????

the pump only goes on for a few seconds after you turn the ignition on. if the ecu does not see any rpm`s, it turns off the power to the pump.

Correct.. But the problem is the fuel pump doesnt cut on at all, when the ignition is cut on, as in not 1 second.

So the pump should spray SOME fuel from the disconnected fuel line(disconnected from the fuel rail) when the ignition is first turned on....right?

then you might have to connect the distributor and MAF to the engine harness.

wtf??

did you put your fuel lines on backwards?
the pump only primes for a second or two.

if you cross the relay, and it works, then the pump is fine.
check the wire with pink on it and see if its getting a reading (use a multimeter) thats the ecu, if not, then we trace back further.

Try swapping out the relay for one that works, if your problem still exist most likely its the signal.
