SR20 AE86 Engine temp install?

So i did a SR20DET swap in my 86 and it runs great except i dont have a temp gauge now. i just bought a mechanical temp gauge. i know i know i should have got an electrical one but i didnt. now im wondering how to install it. thanks guys

go get a stock ae86 temp sending unit and install it on your sr and use the stock ae86 temp gauge. you might have to adapt the toyota sending unit to the sr, but it should be the same thread pitch and size.
