Little history (not relevant)
Bought an s14 with s14 sr20, after 5000 miles decided to get it tuned, got a tune from emance, after 1000 miles the engine started knocking.... rebuilt the engine, didnt change the computer, 1000 miles later engine knock... car sat for 1.5 years now

whatever

Recently I bought another longblock, oem ecu and maf...
swapped it over and it turns but no start...
I checked for spark - got it on all 4
I checked for fuel - fuel squirts out, plugs are wet
I set timing twice, just to make sure (tdc, dark chain links lined up with dots, cam lobes facing out, 2nd notch on the crank pulley, stabbed the cas with notches aligned etc)
I changed back to z32 maf and the emance ecu, still no start...

Now im stumped, not sure what to do next. The engine seems to have enough compression to start (you can hear the air getting compressed and then escaping when turning by hand, although im a noob, so idk if this logic would apply). What should be my next step?

You don't need to use that kind of language to draw attention to yourself.
