View Full Version : Help! Broken E-Brake

This is on an s14. I pull the brake and it comes up with no resistance. I peeked inside the center panel where the lever should pull the cable that engages the e-brake and the cable isn't connected to anything. (i assume). So I'm thinking the cable slides right into the slot on the metal piece on the the lever. (left of cable) but i'm not sure so now i'm here. Any kinda input would be appreciated. Thanks folks!

your 10mm nut fell off. Slide cable through install and tighten nut

all show no go

Right. So now I gotta find the nut. lol geez. Alright thanks a lot partner. This might have been a bit trivial but I just wanted to be certain how to fix it.

Just take the center console off and look around or try a magnet under the carpet, it couldn't have gone far.
