So a curb decided to jump out in front of me, and now I need lower front and lower rear control arms for my S14. Tried going to the cheap easy route with Godspeed for the time being so I can at least drive it. Got my old arms off, and the godspeed ones don't even fit. I asked the Master Tech at the Nissan Dealership by me (who also happens to own an S14) and he said the ones they sent were for an S13 and were slightly different, and all the other manufacturers they use that have parts for an S14 apparently all sell the same ones for different prices, and their all the ones for an S13!

So I'm stuck with my car on jack stands sitting in my driveway and the only other set of Control Arms I can seem to find are Powered By Max ones, but those aren't even available to order till mid-August. Does anyone know of any other places I can order, or pick up in So Cal, a front and rear lower control arm set that will actually fit my S14?

Never heard of a pick-and-pull? Or search the for sale section for part out threads. How are aftermarket arms your only option? You can buy new OEM arms as well if you want.

I can't find any place that sells the OEM rear lower arms. I found one that has a set of front OEM ones though. As for a pick-and-pull, 95% of the 240's at ones around me are just empty shells with nothing on it (took my friend 3 years to find tail lights). That and I'm not exactly sure how to pull off the rears without destroying the grease boot.

The Godspeed/Megan/Garbage Company, etc arms
are all the same
friend installed a set of the rear arms in his car
we had to machine the taper on the shank to fit the upright correctly

WTB forum or call local shops to see if they have them
(SR20store, JPR, etc)

removing arms without damaging the balljoints isn't too hard
take a BFH and hit the knuckle around the balljoint
this will shake it loose

good luck

Here you go.

Suspension, Springs and Related Components (http://www.dealerdirectparts.com/SearchResults.asp?searching=Y&sort=13&cat=210&RefineBy_92=4230&show=9&page=2)

If it doesn't come up right, just choose your make and model and they have them.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market (http://www.car-part.com) will search actual junkyard stock as well. Not fantastic, but it helps.

I bought new OEM rear LCA's for my S13 from FRSport.com this spring.

Here's a link to S14 ones:

question: why didn't you just go for the Nismo ones for a few bucks more?

yeah, for the minimal price difference, the nismo ones are definitely a good buy.

Why not just get some stock arms from someone that is parting out their car?

They usually sell for really cheap. Plus, while they are out you can replace the bushings and ball joint.

Yeah, I found FRSport site a couple days ago and called about the Nismo ones, they didn't have them or the OEM ones in stock, but said they'll call me tomorrow when their shipment comes in if they have them, so i may be able to fix it then!

Does anyone know if there is another compatible nissan that you could use the lower control arms from. In need of replacement front and rear for my s14 and just want t pull them off one in the junk to get it back on the road ASAP.

Thank for the help guys! (BTW i searched long and hard for compatible cars and can only seem to find that a 300zx has the same ones.)

How do you figure that?
The parts I need aren't available. And if another vehicle has the exact same part there will be no problem. So that is what I'm asking. If there is another Nissan that has the same part that is interchangeable.
