Rb25det wont run with the maf plugged in

After we found out the maf wires touched the exhaust and melted we replaced the wires with temporary wires to try and get it to start and but it will not run with maf plugged up I have tried two different mafs and two different ecus still same problem I posted a video to show the problem and you can view it here

No. I've never tried pulling codes before. What's the best way to do it?

theres a LED light on the ECU with a potentiometer screw google how to do it on an RB25 and it will explain it.
