Ok ive been trying to do some reading on the 300z brake swap and i was just wondering whats the benefits from having 5 lugs over 4 lugs? Im pretty sure the z's brakes have more pistons and all that but im just talking about the lugs here.

Yep, we only have 1 piston on each corner. 300zx brakes have 4 pistons on each of the front calipers and 2 on each of the rear.

but your talking about lugs...
advantages of going to 5 lug would be not having to get your rotors redrilled for 4 lug and a better selection of wheels. Strength also, but I don't think it's really an issue.

5 lug holds better also but you arent F1 racer, so that point is moot

basically, its juss a costmetic issue and as mentioned above, better wheel choice basically

I opted to go with the q45 route...its much cheaper and is still a big improvement. They have 2 huge pistons instad of one.
