harness was done by wiring specialties for s14 chassis to s13 blacktop

the plus is an inline face'd plug with an 8 wire pinout and 6 in use

the harness divides right and left. right consisting of o2, knock, iac, cas and maf

dividing left is wiper motor, both ignitor ends and then this plug

it is only 10-12 inchs from the harness grommet at the firewall

the harness was used prior, and the facing of this plug is extremely clean like it was in use. this is what stumps me

The wire harness from wiring specialist have double sets of some connector to work on 95-96 s14 and 97-98 s14 so in some spots you will have two connectors but you can only use 1 depending on which model you have. So based on where u explained it to be its either 1 of the 2 wiper/ wiper amp plugs. Or thats the prewiring for the auto to manual conversion. If your car was originaly 5spd. Dont worry about it tape it up.

You are giving some false information... The first plug is wiper amp, second is kouki wiper motor plug, you guess that right. However, it has nothing to do with auto/manual.

If you search a little harder, you will find your answer. They also have excellent customer service.

Not sure if it matters, but on my swap, my car was a auto and I had to cut and splice one of the connectors to one on the fuse box bc they didn't match up. Idk I'd that helps tho but my plug looked familiar to that one.

Stop picking on me. I googled 98 240sx wiper motor plug and that's the first link... So I doubt he search hard enough. Plus I have the same harness on my car, so I know what I am talking about...

P.S. Om1kron, I love your build...

I wasn't being sarcastic, I was being serious.

if it were just a plug i would of overlooked it as well, it just seemed too clean to have been unused.

it is in the same loom for wiper motor but the plug in question is the wiper motor amplifier and this module was removed and i was unaware of this. hence why i could not find the location to its belonging.

Yeah false information...... Rite if you can read im pretty sure that i stated wiper/ wiper amp. And if you look hard enough there is a connector for the auto to manual coversion. That connects for the trans. harness... I know becuase im touching it rite now.

I told you the first part is right, regarding the wiper/wiper amp part. And you should leave out trans harness out when we are talking about the engine harness...
