S14 sunroof question

I need to replace my sunroof glass on my 95 240sx.

Also, i think i read somewhere that some altima or other nissan suroof uses the same as the 240sx, is this true?

Thats a good question why dont you check part numbers? Are they the same? They have diffrent prices so that should mean they're diffrent. You might just want to give them a call. It's certainly quicker than waiting for a reply here.

good luck dude, Ive been searching for months, there is some bogus part number floating around but doesnt work at nissan, nissan reps say its a bonded part and must buy whole assembly which is like 1300 bucks.....
I would imagine you could go to junk yard and remove the fiberglass trim from another nissan, cut mold it to fit.

Its 100% different i know this because I have a 98 and tried to fit a 95 and a 96 on there and it would not fit.

the 97 and 98 have 2 bolts on each side holding it down while the 95-96 have 3. If u swap the entire assembly out it will work but the glass from a 95-96 simply will not fit correctly.

fyi neither the sunroof seal or the glass assembly is avaliable through nissan north america.

best bet is to find a partout and buy everything

i was told you cant just replace the glass at the dealer i went to. i found a used complete sunroof assembly on ebay.

its been a few weeks so sorry to bring this post up but i ordered a sunroof for a 95 which is the year of my car, but the one i revieved didnt fit. the sunroofs are different frm a early 95 model to a late model 95. those are the only differences in sunroofs
