how difficult would it be to use the vq35de for an engine swap in a 240sx.

would it be possible to do it without spending too much.

ok lets take a 10 year old car and swap in a brand new V-6 in place of the stock in line four cylinder...

dude, 10k MIGHT get it done... more likely 10k would be a deposit just to get a shop to start work on the car.

use that 10K and your car as a down payment on a new 350Z...and then nickname your Z "S13"...thats the cheapest way to have a VQ in an S13....

Both V6's are to wide to fit into the engine bay. There's allways the RB25DET swap.

before u speak, make sure ur info is right....there are a few vg30dett projects coming along..and it fits quite well...

i saw one finished and running on ebay a while back, it was an ugly color though, like baby shit brown and puke pink mixed, and he was pulling low 11's with modded motor
