At lights the car begins to smoke after about a minute or so. I'm almost sure it's the turbo but I need input before I begin replacing parts to fix it.

I put circuit sports lines on the car a while back but I'm thinking I didn't put the right restrictor on the oil line, or possibly the coolant line. I'm not sure if the turbo needs any type of restrictor on the coolant lines but I figured anything is possible.

I'm looking into replacing the turbo with a gt2871r but I don't want to do that unless I'm dead certian that it's a turbo problem.

If anybody has had this same problem and figured out the culprit, please let me know what you did. I'm all ears.

Forgot to add that I'm set at 12lbs. right now but it spikes to 14-15psi. occasionally.

white. this may sound completely stupid but could the turbo back up with or and or coolant if there's no restrictor after idling for just a minute or so?

Check your return lines for pinch points...and yes you do need a certain restricts but it varies with the type of turbo your running.

I couldn't imagine the return lines being pinched only because they are ss lines but I'll definitely check. But does that sound common? it's just a stock t25. Nothing special.
