im just relaying it from club4ag. the following is the post.
Just like the subject states the October 25 event at Holtville has been cancelled; due to circumstances beyond my control. I apologize for any inconvience this may cause. There was nothing I could do.
I was really looking forward to going, like I know a few of you were. Especially since we spent $3000 in repairs getting ready for the 25th. Not only that but the event was shaping up to be one of our best ones yet. A lot of 240sx, AE86 and FC guys were all planned to attend; so it was going to be a blast. Unfortunately, things are not working out as planned.
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!!! I would hate for someone to drive out there and waste their time, only to find out that the event was cancelled. I will keep everyone posted, as I hope to have a rescheduling date in the near future.
