they are a universal hub that is specific to the 240sx's which will fit if you have the stock 4 lug, and also one day if you go 5 lug

the pads included in the kit are Rotora ceramic competition pads which are designed for street/race use

the big brake kit and the oem size replacement rotors only come slotted by Rotora, sorry they make performance enhancing Rotors, not stock ones

So they don't make non slotted/non cross drilled rotors for their own brake kits? Interesting.

well, certain applications come sloted/drilled, but all the 240 ones come slotted only, sorry for confusion

okay, sorry for the confusion, the BIG BRAKE KIT comes SLOTTED/CROSS-DRILLED, the OEM size replacement rotors come only SLOTTED

each replacement rotor if you had the big brake kit would go around $190 each, and you dont have to upgrade the MC

$1700!!! I wouldn't pay that much for somthing that's made in "TAIWAN" $500 more I rather get a Brembo....... guys it's not worth it, that RO-TA-RA cost less $300 to make it in Taiwan!!!:hammer:

Rotora parts are manufacture in 3 countries Japan, USA, and Taiwan.

Does the country of origin determine on the quality of the parts? I don’t really think the cost of manufacture the complete brake system is less than $300.

Here is the brief production flow of a typical caliper:

Cast the calipers
CNC machine the caliper (outer shape and inner piston sizes)
Anodize calipers
Paint calipers
Assemble calipers
Bench test the calipers for leaks

Here is the brief production flow of a typical rotor:

Cast the rotors
CNC machine the rotors
Cross drill and slot the rotors
Balance the rotors
Assemble the rotors (2 pc rotors/aluminum hat)

Please don’t forget the cost of R&D, testing, and tooling (caliper,rotor,brake pads, brake lines). There is just so much cost that is involved in a brake system.

The estimated cost of tooling of EACH component of a brake system is in $50,000 ~ $150,000. I would not even want to calculate the R&D and testing time for a brake system.

Now, does any one still thing that the cost of a brake system is under $300?????

There is no need to slam a product that you have no idea on their company background. Since you are familiar with the country of origin with brakes, than you must know that there are some Project µ brake pads that are also made in Taiwan. There are other manufactures that produce parts in Taiwan but I really don’t want to get off topic.

Brembo doesn't even produce a lot of their rotors.. also did you know that Brembo's are not sized specifcally for single cars? They have like 2 different calipers they sell with ALL their brake kits. They work pretty good, but a properly sized caliper for the car and brake system it's going on will feel much better, and work better too.

All I wanna say is, I found this brake kit in Taiwan cost only $300 USD, they look exact the same as ROTORA!!

aren't the endless 4pot and 6pot big brake kits around $3000 range. a little higher for the 6pot and a little lower for the 4pot kit. the brembo gran turismo big brake kit cost over $3000. project mu is around that price too..

rotora's strategy is offering a big brake upgrade kit at a little bit of a more affordable price than those 3 other forementioned big brake manufacturers w/o sacrificing quality. theres also other big brake companies out there for z32 like stillen and AP racing 6pot. those kits are upwards of $2000 or more.

ppl gotta understand that big brake upgrades are expensive. tahts why most ppl go the used z32 route. still, w/ z32 big brake upgrade, rotor diameter is only increased to 280mm. most of the big brake kits are 330mm. i think the rotora's is 330mm. thats 50mm larger surface area on the big brake upgrades than the z32.

but big brake upgrades are only for the rich or the perfectionist. you can do well enough with z32 upgrades. if you need more stopping power to decrease your 60-0 times, big brake upgrades are the way to go. and its hard to find a big brake upgrade kit thats less than $2000 so all you cheap ppl get the facts straight. if you can't afford, just upgrade to z32, q45, or whatever else is out there. you can even take it a step up w/o going as far as buying an aftermarket big brake kits such as converting to skyline 'brembo' calipers or even porsche calipers have been put onto a 240. the brembo gran turismo big brake kit uses farari f50 calipers iirc. you gotta pay to play. im sick of the whining.

You have done this twice, whoring up other people's threads trying to peddle your wares, the problem here is that you are doing this in OLD threads... You have one thread open in the marketplace to sell these brakes, I am going to need you to pay attention to thread dates and refrain from whoring other peoples' threads in the marketplace, lest I will be left with no choice but to restrict your access to it.
