Did any of you guys go? Did you follow the results? 4 People from our league went and placed faily well.

Running on a Type-R, in DS, 2 of our guys managed 7th and 13th place. And on a BMW 325is, in DSP, they managed 8th and 36th place.

From our division... we had the following National Champions:

(from www.NESCCA.com for the North East Division)
SS - Pat Salerno - Corvette - New York Region
SSL - Karen Rafferty - Corvette - Steel Cities Region
FS - Mike Johnson - Z-28 - New York Region
FSL - Diane Lapusnak - Z-28 - New York Region
FSP - Allen Kugler - Honda - Susquehanna Region
STX - Keith Casey - Subaru WRX - New England Region
CPL - Susan Delzell - Mustang - Steel Cities Region
EPL - Kathy Barnes - Honda Civic - New England Region
CM - Mark Daddio - Reynard FF - New England Region

The club I run with most is the New England Region.

As for trophies, I'm not sure how many were taken by NEDiv or NER specifically. I DO know that the NER guys usually do REALLY well in STS, but for some reason they tanked it.... went from like 5 trophies in 2002 for NEDiv to like none this year.

Some little things:
One of my past instructors, Phil Kogan placed 31st in DSP.
Mark Daddio kicked all our buts in Street Mod this year at NER's event 2. Last year he was 4th at Nats in SM. That guy is a NASTY driver.
Keith Casey is supposedly moving to Street Mod next year to compete against us turbo 240 guys.

Their names were:

Carl Wener: Acura Integra Type-R - DS - 7th
Eric St-Onge: Acura Integra Type-R - DS - 13th
David Larose: BMW 325is - DSP - 8th
Gilles Pilon: BMW 325is - DSP - 36th (usually drive 300zx NA 2 seater)

Gilles was also one of my instructors when I joined in the Montreal area solo league.

Where are the N-E events held usually? Is it really far from the border? Maybe I could go down next year to meet you guys. :)

NESCC (http://www.nescc.org) runs in Ayer, MA
NER (http://www.ner.org) runs in Ayer, MA or Louden, NH

If you can come down to an event that'd be cool. Our division is pretty good... and it's always fun to have other 240sx's to compete with.

This is very interesting... Mapquest claims it takes 5 hours 31 minutes to get to Ayer, but I believe it's more something like 4.5 hours...

I see you have 3 mores events left (11th, 25th and 26th of October). What's the difference between the 25th and 26th event wise?

I might interest you in some of our events.. we have one last one on october 4th on the Sanair circuitat Ste-Pie .. (around 60km east of montreal)..

Hmm... i'm not sure there's a difference between the 25th and 26th events. NER also has an event on the 12th, but that's just an event for fun and the Stirling Moss runoffs (which I'll get my ass kicked in).

Oct 4th might be do-able... I have to check and see if I've already planned something for then but forgot about it, though....

I'm not gonna go until the car is at least somewhat developed for SM. It's isn't competitive in DSP. Anybody know why that red S13 fastback didn't compete in DSP this year (forgot driver's name)?

However, my man JT in the EP Lombardo Civic netted his twelth championship. The guy is not human!

Well Ace, if you need a bunk up North for the event, I'll gladly lend you my couch! :)
