RB PROB need help!

I have a rb25det series 2 swap and car runs fine with maf plugged in, soon as i go to plug it in car dies instanly. A few weeks ago car was runnin good, had a e60 maf with a broken flange makin it run rich. Now i have a new e60 maf and is on tight to my filter and it doesnt work.
maf readings with it unplugged at idle:
12V is good
ground is good
my signal reads 0

Sounds like it could be bad. My signal wire also had 0 volts and it runs just fine.

damn hope its not the maf again and i'm just lost cause it just happened out of nowhere. checked all sensors there plugged in, all fuses good, cracked open ecu nothin fried.

well i found my problem, it was the shelded wire i cut n made my ground and signal wire shorter to the harness and wen the sheleded wire is wrapped around them, it runs with maf plugged in. Now only problem is its still not goin past 2500rpm so not sure if i have to mess wit wires a little more or wat.
