Check your main interfaces' by the battery, make sure they are pluged in.

If that does not work
Check if you have power going to the ecu

If that does not work
try using another rb20 ecu to start it up.

I did not say battery connections. I said the 2 main interfaces by the battery. One is brown, the other is grey. Make sure they are pluged in.

Engine|battery|plugs|chassis <--that is the order to find the plugs.

Also, there should be a wire from the rb converted harness that goes to either the battery, or 2 white wires off the battery. Make sure that is conected too. That is ecu power

You already tested if the ecu has power. The light inside the ecu should light up if it has power.

I would check those connections, then move on to using someones ecu.

Do you have 12v at the battery? please check that. Make sure there is 12v on the battery. With a volt tester.

If you check that, and it does not have 12v. You fix it. Then check when the car is running with a volt tester. Make sure the volt read about 13v+ when the car is running.

The cable going to the starter, make sure it is all good and conected. Also there is a little wire on the starter to. Make sure you have the big wire and the little wire on the starter.

if you lose power when trying to turn it over it is probably a bad battery connection or bad ground where the battery goes to the chassis. Also i had a problem where my headlights and dashlights were on but nothing else with my sr. try looking in the fuse box under the hood foor one labeled eng. i think. replace it and my problem was solved. also happened to a friend of mine. its a big square one. i think its brown or green.

How recent was this addition? Where did you get power from for this? It sounds like you're tripping a relay when you get power and try to start the car.

Funny thing is now the fan turns on but I'm getting power from the positive battery cable idk if that's legit spot had a friend hook it up. But the grounds seem fine I was told to check my ignition switch?
