Ever since I got my car the power windows would make a cla-clunk noise while rolling the windows down. Usually two light "cla-clunks" while the window was rolling down.
A couple of times I have stopped rolling the driver's side window down right at the "cla-clunk" noise and the window will shoot down into the door making a zip-tie type noise.
Obviously something is fluffed up with the window reculator. My guess is the gear on the back of the motor, but I'm not sure since I haven't take my door a part. I don't want to pay the junkyard $75 a pop for old regulators if the fix is a $5 part.
Has anyone _FIXED_ this problem WITHOUT replacing the entire regulator?
