looking to buy a modified 240 and the engine has those pistons in them. Any information on them? More HP? Advantages/Disadvantages? Kinda worries me that the engine was opened but i believe the work was done by Secret Services.

8.3 compression ratio as opposed to 8.5 for the s13 SR20DET
Lower ratio lets you run more boost without blowing the head gasket
