S13 motor came with a hicas ps pump. Can i use a dohc or sohc pump with the hicas bracket?

You can also modify the HICAS pump. That is what we did. Of course I used some cheap **** to seal it and of course it leaked. Cheaper than trying to get a non HICAS pump. A DOHC pump works too. NOt sure about SOHC

We were going to just weld it shut but thought it might create too much pressure and blow the pump, does the sr bracket work on the dohc pump?

I am not familiart with the SR20 stuff. I just gave insight on the HICAS pump. We used some quik seal and then rtouted the rear line back into the reservoir.
