180sx Cluster Light?

I am finishing up my install need to have my homemade ICP welded. I have started the car and it runs great but the light on gauge cluster where the brake light would be on the 240sx is an (!) that is on. What does this mean?

Really, because I am running a test pipe. I thought since it was a RT that it would be obd1 I guess so no cat wouldnt be a problem. I plugged in all the plugs that ran down by the transmission but I do have a few on the passenger side that are not plugged in. Any suggestions?

I tryed pulling an releasing my e-brake. Now that I think about it I know that I have no brake fluid so I will add some then get back to you. So it serves the same purpose as on the 240sx gauges?

That light doubles as the ebrake/fluid level of your resevoir and comes on when you have a "low fluid" condition. At least thats what I read in someones post in the past week... so take note to see if it goes away when you fill the MC.

if it doesnt work, check yoru rear brake pads. sometimes when they are on there improperly/worn because of that, the light will comeone.
