Mixing Gauge Brands Wiring and Sensors

Is there any compatibility between wiring and sensors from different gauge brands? I am curious if I could use for example a temp sensor and/or wiring harness from an OBX with a Greddy?

I have tried searching for this info, but the search terms are too vague, and I am not getting any relevant results.

The senders should match the gauges you are running or at least make sure they send a signal in the same range that the gauge expects. most senders work on resistance to send the info to the gauge. if you know what range the gauge is looking for you can see what range the sensor uses.
However for it to be most accurate match the sender and gauge together
