bad starter solenoid?

when i turn the key nothing happens no clicking or anything... tried testing it buy using a wire to touch the two posts together nothing happens you just hear it spinn dosne engage into the flywheel... also the relay wire that goes form the solenoid to the harness plug well the part that goes into the solenoid wiggles up and down a little bit not sure what this is... any help would be great... and if the solenoid is bad will a KA one work?... thanks

Might want to get your battery tested or maybe your starter. Most auto part stores do it for free.

check to make sure the plastic/rubber stub on the clutch pedal that depresses the the safety switch is still there. Could be your ignition switch as well.

He said the starter spins it just doesnt engage i'd probably take it off and get it tested should only take a minute. I dont know if a KA starter will work, you might wanna search.
