s13 temp gauge not working

ok here's the story I just did the 5sp swap and thanks to everyone here I got the car running. Everything works fine but the temp gauge is not coming on. So I changed out the engine temp sensor on the intake manifold and still nothing happened. So what do you guys and girls think can be the problem?
