i currently have a L jetro power fc on my sr20 and was wondering if there was any way to convert it to a MAP sensor instead of buying the D jetro? i'd rather not spend the money for D jetro just for the MAP unless D jetro is THAT much better than L jetro.

l jet is for maf powered cars
d jet is for map powered cars

neither one tunes better than the other or has more options. same shit different configs.

there is no cheap conversion.

i know people who have used L-jetro PFC and then used an HKS VPC to delete the MAF.
Basically a piggy back on the PFC.

i'll look into it...next question. does the MAF hold me back at all tuning wise? i have 450hp now but want to go for 550hp in the future.

Honestly in PFC land I think the L-Jetro or MAF based units are better for Nissans. I hate the dual fuel map setup on the D Jetro, takes a lot longer to tune and you really don't need to deal with that on setups that a PFC would apply for anyways.

If you want a real map based system step up to an AEM or Haltech EMS
