ok, so i know a common cheep mod in s14 ka's are to use the 1991 exhaust cam (248 degrees) in the intake side of the motor replacing the 232 degree cam. now i was wandering what would happen if u used 2 1991 exhaust cams in both the intake and exhaust. Has any one done this? is it possible? dose any one know what the expected hourse power gains whould be? just fig i ask lol
thanks

How many bolts do you have on top of your valve cover? If its 2 then its from a S14. If it's 3, it's a S13. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The easiest, reliable and decent performance gain swap is s13 intake (240) and exhaust (248) swapped in place of the 232's. Long story short, 248 exh cam swap for int and exh really requires the intake to be dialed in just right.

That's correct, but the 232/232 cams were introduced in late 1993 to replace the SCVs and their "midrange torque increase". Basically if the engine has SCVs, it's 240/248, if it doesn't it's 232/232.
