Has anyone had any experienve with Sandtler air filters or any equiptment of there's whatsoever??
I've got myself a sandtler air filter because I needed one in a hurry, and a local shop told me they use it on their race cars. But it doesn't look very dense/tight. It has only one mesh along the metal protection. And I can somewhat see the aliuminium adapter through that brown filter mesh.
Another thing that bugs me is that I dont see any dust, small grains of sand in the folds.. Kind'a unsettling to think that anything smaller, than the few 0.3mm diameter grains laying on the filter, get sucked in.
It looks like that if i would hold a pamful of ash in front of the Sandtler air filter every last particle would be sucked in.
Yet this is the first cone air filter I've seen up close, so I maybe my concerns arn't right. But I definetly want my engine healthy and running long.
