To get to the point so short and sweet, are there any 240s/ Drifters down in the SM Austin area on this site? im feeling lonely and i havent seen another 240 yet only WRXs and GTs

My girlfriend used to go to Texas State........I am from NJ.....I used to fly down to visit her every month or two.....saw a couple of decent 240s down there.

There are definitely some nice corners on the roads around the campus!

I drive a red s13 coupe. their is people on campus, but i never see them around. so i guess that dosent really help. im down to meet up or something...

The campus has amazing corners but sessom is typically busy though, i might hit it up sometime when i get the traffic down better.

I'm looking one for an exhaust adjustment, but it would be nice to just have one in this area that could also do a wide range of work period.
Definently not looking to sell the coupe though lol, first and last car. (may be a little extreme there)

If you're looking for a high quality shop, I would suggest SPL or Boost Logic. Both shops are in Austin, but be ready to fork out some serious cash if you go to Boost Logic.

I live just north of Austin in Georgetown, but the woman and I are looking at buying a house in the Buda area, since I work in downtown Austin.

Howdy and welcome to Texas! If you are about sliding your car around, then here is the forum to find the local drifters at Fabricated Motorsports - Index (http://www.fabricatedmotorsports.com/forum/) . There are lots of events to go drive at, with lots of friendly people at them. The majority of the events are located just outside the Fort Worth area, with some Houston ones, and a few others thrown in for good measure. These events have instruction for completely new people, and awesome tandem for the advanced drivers. There is something happening every single month as well.

The next event in our Formula Drift Proam Series down here happens on November 11th, and here is the facebook event page. Final Round of the 2012 Lone Star Drift Series | Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/events/359294824157811/)

As for shops, depending on what you need there are plenty of places to go. If you need fabrication shops, tuning shops, or just parts, you kind of go to different places. Hit me up if you need recommendations for something specific. I am not a shop but I know of a lot of them around Texas.

Cool man thanks, ill keep that in mind. Im originally from FT. Worth so i know there is a good amount around there. I actually still need somewhere to get exhaust work done, as well as idle issues.
