Ok, so I have access to a lift for tomorrow night. I am swapping out my clutch. The problem is that I only have this lift for the evening. Everyone is closed that can turn my flywheel once I get it out. I got a flywheel from a friend. He has a dohc S13 motor and mine is a sohc S13 motor. The question is I want to get this flywheel turned during the daytime so that I am ready to go with the clutch swap once I get started with no down time.

Will a dohc flywheel work in my sohc? Or do I need to use a sohc flywheel?

Thanks in advance.

What theboy said, They are the same between both SOHC and DOHC. Same goes for the transmissions as well.

Yup that's right they are the same, I have KA24DE but I'm using my old single cam flywheel and I'm not having problems at all!

s14 trans' are technically different. But yes they will bolt rite up to either ka. But thats not important

if only 240's were more compatible like hondas....ill prolly get flamed for saying that, but damn you can put anything part on any car basically. more so than on our cars

^ Nissan is a decent "parts bin" company. A lot of Z32 parts bolt right onto the SChassis cars as we all know.
