i have a stock sr with the stock intake pipe to the Maf. i have a Hks bov and im not recirculating it so i needed to plug the intake pipe spot where you would put the recirculating hose. i used a 2 liter bottle cap with a clamp.

safe or no safe??????

I use a battery and wrap some e-tape around the battery...form to fit. Never had an issue with it and my friend did it to his car as well.

Not gunna lie I used a bottle cap as well on my old one. I wouldn't use one now, simply because I became super picky and don't want anything looking sketchy under the hood. Everything has to be clean for me now :)

I like the battery best. The visual in my mind was what happens if the battery was to get pulled through lol.

I used one of those rubber expansion plugs that you get at NAPA. I has two plates on each side of the rubber with a bolt through the middle of it. As you tighten it expans and seals.

RB makes it too hot under the hood and melts the bottle cap lol.

You've gotta be kidding me.

No. Don't judge me.

that's almost as ghetto as the ziptie that hold my exhaust up.

I have seen and done a lot worse...especially with exhaust, lol

The battery has been in there for over a year and hasn't moved...I think I would have to cut it out or something now...not too worried about it going into the intake and hitting the turbine since I couldn't get it out without cutting. Just do it right the first time and never worry about it again!
